Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School programs given to students, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian (referred to hereafter as “student”).
  2. Any personal data collected on this site will be processed by Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School solely for the purposes of administration and research. Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School will not disclose this information to third parties.
  3. Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School may occasionally take photographs and film footage of students during performances or classes for use in Stagecraft marketing and publicity material only. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed or filmed inform Stagecraft in writing.
  4. Cancellation Policy:
    1. When a student is attending a regular semester Stagecraft program for the first time, the contract can be terminated no later than 5 days after the first day of attendance. Any fees paid, less a $30 administration fee, will be prorated and refunded in the form of a cheque.
    2. Any student attending a regular semester or summer camp program who is required to withdraw due to injury or illness, will receive a pro-rated refund of fees, less a $30 administration fee, provided a doctor’s note is supplied. If the refund is accepted in the form of a future Stagecraft credit, the administration fee will be waived.
    3. With the exception of a withdrawal due to illness or injury as per 4) b), all Stagecraft summer camp programs are non-refundable.
    4. For withdrawals for reasons other than those stated in 4) a) & b), a refund will not be issued.
  5. Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School reserves the right to make changes to the class schedule and to the teaching staff.
  6. Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion.
  7. Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Stagecraft of any existing injuries or medical conditions.
  8. Stagecraft accepts no liability for any loss of or damage to personal belongings.
  9. The liability of Stagecraft and that of its staff is limited to class time only and then only to gross negligence.
  10. Methods of Payment:

    • Credit card, via paypal (a 3% fee will be applied to paypal transactions)
    • Cheque

    • At the discretion of the Business Manager, post-dated cheque payments may be accepted. Contact ottawa@stagecraft.ca for details.
  11. An application will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by the payment/transfer of the required fees. Until receipt of payment is confirmed, the student’s enrollment in any Stagecraft program is not guaranteed.
